In 1792, a group of believers came together to form an assembly called Little River Baptist Church. From that time their ministry was defined as follows; to provide a house of worship for the saints and a place where sinners could hear the Gospel preached. It is wonderful to know that Little River still believes that to this day. The Spirit and Truth that we enjoy here refreshes us daily as we attempt to carry out the Lord's Great Commission. When sinners come forward and give their heart and life to Jesus Christ, and when the Lord's people get excited about serving Him and doing His work, this is what truly gives us the greatest joy of our labors, and assures us of His purpose.
