Meet Our Pastor Bro Jeff Chapman
I want to personally thank you for stopping in at littleriverbc.org. My hope and prayer is that this website will be a blessing to you. Let me also invite you to the services here at Little River. This is a place where you will here the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ preached and the Scriptures rightly divided. A warm welcome awaits you. Let me take a moment and share a portion of my testimony:
I was born-again in the Fall of 1981 in a Sunday evening service at Liledoun Baptist Church. Rev. Coy Walker was preaching and Bro. Roland Chapman was leading the invitation hymn Just As I Am. I knelt under the communion table (because I was so afraid) an cried out to God to have mercy on me a sinner. He came into my heart and did a work no preacher nor priest could ever do! He washed and cleansed and made me whole.
I surrendered to preach in the Fall of 1993 standing in the choir on a Sunday evening service at Liledoun Baptist Church. Rev. James Bumgarner was my pastor at the time and was a true help to me and my ministry. I have had the privilege of setting under great men of God that I was truly honored to call my pastor.
Little River Baptist Church called me as their interim pastor in the Fall of 1996. I became their full time pastor in the Spring of 1997. It has been the greatest honor of my life to be called "Preacher Jeff" for these 25 years of service to the Lord's people.
Once again thank you for your time and may the Lord richly bless you is our prayer.
